貴人 -Até hito-
"Até hito" costume is a symbol of Japan's ancient cultural heritage, representing the nobility of the Heian period. It is designed to faithfully inherit the attire of the noblemen from that era, while elevating it into a modern interpretation suitable for contemporary performances.
This costume is crafted entirely from chirimen (crepe silk) and kinran (gold-embroidered brocade) fabrics, excluding the hakama (traditional trousers). These materials maintain the unique texture and luxurious quality that are distinctive to Japanese culture, preserving the elegance and craftsmanship of ancient noble attire.
