While the Kasane costume represents cherry blossoms, the "Kū" (Void) costume expresses the achromatic space that enhances their beauty. It symbolizes the empty sky against which the vibrant sakura stand out, creating a striking contrast.

One unique feature of the Kū costume is the way it is worn—with the left sleeve removed. This design allows the dancers’ formations to shift between appearing predominantly white or black, depending on their movements and choreography.
